Planning Commission Approves NYU Campus Expansion

Law360, New York (June 6, 2012, 3:36 PM EDT) -- New York City's Planning Commission voted Wednesday to approve New York University's 2-million-square-foot expansion plan for its Greenwich Village campus after adding several new modifications to the controversial proposal.

All but one commission member — Public Advocate Bill de Blasio — voted to send the proposal on to the City Council after removing plans for a hotel and commercial space and adjusting the height of two of the four new buildings.
