Fortify New US-EU Data Transfer Pact, Privacy Groups Urge

Law360, Washington (November 13, 2015, 4:07 PM EST) -- U.S. and European advocacy consumer rights groups on Friday urged the U.S. Department of Commerce and its European counterpart to strengthen privacy measures in a new data transfer trade, warning that hewing closely to the discredited Safe Harbor program would be insufficient.
