Restore Act Would Send More BP Dollars To Gulf States

Law360, New York (March 5, 2012, 12:00 AM EST) -- Following Friday's class action settlement in litigation over the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, environmental organizations and a bipartisan group of lawmakers will continue to push for legislation to ensure the Gulf Coast receives most of the proceeds from penalties BP PLC may end up paying to the U.S. government.
