GSK Can't Shake Calif. County's Avandia False Ad Claims

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 3:39 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Tuesday denied GlaxoSmithKline PLC's bid to partially dismiss false advertising claims brought by Santa Clara County, Calif., over GSK's diabetes medication Avandia, rejecting its argument that the claims must be based on false advertising displayed within the county.
