T-Mobile Gives FCC's Post-Auction Transition Plan Thumbs-Up

Law360, Washington (October 18, 2016, 2:22 PM EDT) -- T-Mobile is throwing its support behind the Federal Communications Commission's proposal for transitioning stations to new airwaves after the broadcast incentive auction so wireless carriers can begin using the spectrum they purchase, according to an ex parte filing Monday calling for flexibility.

According to the filing, T-Mobile USA Inc. representatives met last week with incentive auction task force members and other FCC staffers to voice the telecom's support for the FCC's proposal. That proposal would move potentially hundreds of channels during a 39-month transition period following...
