2 Mass. Sanctuary Cities Sue Trump Over Funding Cut Threat

Law360, New York (February 9, 2017, 2:03 PM EST) -- Two sanctuary cities in Massachusetts, backed by a legal team including lawyers from Goodwin Procter LLP, on Wednesday filed suit against President Donald Trump over his threats to strip federal funding for defying his immigration priorities.

Trump’s January executive order is a vague and unconstitutional federal power grab, the cities of Chelsea and Lawrence argued.
