NJ Senate Passes Charity Donations Bill To Fight SALT Cap

Law360 (February 26, 2018, 7:35 PM EST) -- The New Jersey Senate passed a bill Monday that would allow for property tax credits for making certain qualified charitable donations on behalf of real property, a rebuke to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, P.L. 115-97, which limited the total state and local tax deduction to $10,000.
