Cryptocurrency Real Estate Biz Files $75M ICO With SEC

Law360 (March 7, 2018, 6:54 PM EST) -- Real estate-focused cryptocurrency startup The Praetorian Group filed an anticipated $75 million initial coin offering with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, marking what is believed to be the first company to publicly register its ICO with the agency.

Praetorian Group filed registration for the sale of 15 million tokens at $5 each to raise $75 million in equity, or a cryptocurrency equivalent, to fund the first phase of its business. That includes buying residential and commercial properties in the New York City area...
