Fla. Bill Would Limit Developers' Share Of Transit Upgrades

Law360, Miami (January 30, 2013, 10:33 PM EST) -- A bill introduced Tuesday in the Florida House of Representatives is aimed at moving the state one step ahead in a long, winding effort to find balance in rules addressing traffic congestion and development by expanding requirements for cost sharing between builders and local governments.

House Bill 319, filed by Rep. Lake Ray, R-Jacksonville, would strengthen 2011 revisions to Florida growth management law that added limits on the share of transportation upgrades that developers have to bare.
