5th Circ. Rejects Bid To Revive Hair Salon ADA Suit

Law360 (February 9, 2018, 3:56 PM EST) -- The Fifth Circuit on Thursday declined to revive a paraplegic man’s suit accusing the owner of a local commercial property that included a hair salon of failing to ensure that the building complied with the Americans with Disabilities Act, ruling that the man had no plans to revisit the salon and therefore had no standing to sue.
