Home Depot Gets Nod For $1.5M Deal With Fired Workers

Law360, New York (May 21, 2015, 7:46 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday approved a $1.5 million settlement between Home Depot USA and fired workers who said the retailer was slow to pay final checks, after previously expressing concern about what percentage of the settlement would go to class members.

U.S. District Court Judge Lucy Koh in a brief order said she was satisfied the revised agreement was “fair, reasonable and accurate” and presented a substantial benefit to the more than 10,000 class members.
