BCBG Hit With Wage Theft Class Action Over On-Call Shifts

Law360, New York (October 9, 2015, 2:36 PM EDT) -- BCBG Max Azria was slapped with a proposed class action in California state court Thursday alleging it failed to compensate employees who are required to report for on-call shifts but ultimately aren’t put to work.

Robynette Robinson said BCBG tells its employees to consider their on-call shifts a definite thing, but that the retailer doesn’t properly credit them reporting-time pay when they aren’t required to work the on-call shift.
