PC Richard's Receipts Compromise Customer Info, Suit Says

Law360, New York (November 18, 2015, 6:39 PM EST) -- Appliance and electronics retailer P.C. Richard & Son LLC was hit with a proposed class action Wednesday in New York federal court for allegedly exposing its customers to identity theft and debit card fraud by printing card information on their receipts in violation of federal law.

Kathleen O’Shea said P.C. Richard has had years to comply with the requirements of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act but that it has refused to do so and continues to print expiration dates and card numbers on its receipts....
