Ex-Interpublic Exec Missing Docs In Facebook Investor Suit

Law360, New York (February 6, 2013, 6:17 PM EST) -- A former Interpublic Group of Cos. Inc. executive can't cash in on a $380 million Facebook Inc. investment he allegedly helped arrange for his company because no written agreement exists, an Interpublic attorney told a New York state judge during a hearing Wednesday.

Interpublic's Hal S. Shaftel of Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP told Judge Eileen Bransten that now-retired Interpublic executive Ray Volpe can't argue that he was entitled to a cut of the the advertising and marketing conglomerate's investment.
