Law360 (June 11, 2018, 2:45 PM EDT) -- NBA star LeBron James and his business partner asked a Michigan federal court on Friday to toss claims that they ripped off a Detroit barbershop talk show with a similar web series called "The Shop" by James' production company, arguing the court lacked personal jurisdiction over the two.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star and Maverick Carter claimed in their motion to dismiss that there was no evidence they knew about the Detroit program, called "Shop Talk," before the premiere of "The Shop," a similar web series featuring celebrities interviewed while getting haircuts.
