Yahoo Gets $550K Refund In NCAA Contest Row, Judge Says

Law360, New York (March 25, 2016, 1:30 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge corrected a November ruling that entitled Yahoo Inc. to recover half the fees it paid to a prize insurer before scrapping a $1 billion NCAA March Madness contest, ordering the insurer on Thursday to repay the Web giant $550,000.
