EA Lifted Textron's Chopper Trademarks In War Game: Suit

Law360, New York (February 27, 2012, 10:49 PM EST) -- Two Textron Inc. units sued Electronic Arts Inc. in Texas federal court Friday, saying the video game giant copied Textron's trademarked helicopters without permission in its "Battlefield 3" video game.

Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. and Textron Innovations Inc. say EA's game features several of their helicopters, including the AH-1Z Viper, the UH-1Y Venom and the V-22 Osprey, according to the complaint.
