Tyco Seeks Full 3rd Circ. Review Of SOX Whistleblower Ruling

Law360, New York (April 3, 2013, 2:43 PM EDT) -- Tyco Electronics Corp. sought en banc review Tuesday of a Third Circuit ruling that revived a former accountant's whistleblower claims and adopted a worker-friendly standard for what constitutes protected activity under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, arguing that the decision conflicts with nine other circuit courts.
