Capital One To Build $150M Data Center In Va., Snubbing Texas

Law360, New York (June 28, 2012, 4:55 PM EDT) -- Virginia will be the home of Capital One Financial Corp.'s new $150 million data center, beating out Texas' industrial and office hot spots for the honor after having offered the bank several financial incentives, the Virginia governor announced Wednesday.

Already headquartered in the state, Capital One will build its latest facility in Chesterfield County, bringing at least 50 new jobs to the area. In return, Virginia has offered up a $500,000 grant to help fund the development and support for recruitment and training, and Capital One...
