Law360, New York (February 15, 2017, 7:53 PM EST) -- A Texas federal judge on Wednesday signed off on an order that ended a lawsuit against travel website Hotels.com brought by a Texas entity alleging computer program patent infringement.
U.S. District Judge Robert W. Schroeder III in his one-page ruling dismissed the case with prejudice and denied any relief not yet granted, ordering the court clerk to close the case against Hotels.com brought by Venadium LLC. Court filings did not indicate a reason for the voluntary dismissal, which was requested Monday.
