Md. Doctors Settle Med Mal Suit Over Woman's Biopsy Death

Law360, Los Angeles (January 10, 2017, 11:15 PM EST) -- Doctors associated with Baltimore's Franklin Square Hospital have settled a medical malpractice suit prompted by the death of a woman from what was supposed to be a routine biopsy, federal court filings revealed Monday, canceling a trial set to begin the same day.

The settlement comes in a case brought by Jason Jaworski, whose wife, Linda Jaworski, died after going to the emergency department of Franklin Square Hospital Center Inc. in Greater Baltimore on April 4, 2011.
