Pharmacist Denied Problems Amid Meningitis Probe, Jury Told

Law360, Boston (January 10, 2017, 6:26 PM EST) -- The head of a Massachusetts compounding pharmacy had told a Centers for Disease Control official investigating the start of a meningitis outbreak that the company had no issues with testing or sterilization, the official testified this week before a federal jury.

The phone call in late September 2012 had reassured the CDC's Dr. Benjamin Park that perhaps the source of the deadly outbreak, then still in its earliest stages, was not the New England Compounding Center’s steroid supplies.
