By Cara Salvatore (February 6, 2017, 7:49 PM EST) -- A Missouri federal jury on Friday found that a St. Louis orthopedist and his practice did nothing wrong in the case of a patient who said her poor care necessitated a full knee replacement.
The jury found in favor of defendants Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Inc. and Dr. Corey Solman Jr. in a medical malpractice suit over allegedly botched post-surgery care. Plaintiff Leslie Grussing said that after a surgery performed by Solman, she eventually developed an infection, but that Solman failed to diagnose it in its early states.
