Jury Acquits Former HMA Executive On Obstruction Charge

Law360, Miami (November 14, 2014, 3:57 PM EST) -- A federal jury in Fort Myers, Florida, on Thursday found a former division president with Health Management Associates Inc. not guilty of destroying, altering or falsifying records to interfere with a federal investigation of the hospital chain.

Joshua S. Putter was arrested nearly a year ago and pled not guilty on Nov. 26, 2013, to the obstruction charge and was released on $250,000 bond, according to court records.
