Suit Says Google Keyword Ads Infringe Trademarks

Law360 (May 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Hoping to secure leverage in a battle against Google Inc., software company FPX LLC has filed a putative class action against the online search giant accusing it of infringing trademarks by allowing them to be sold to competitors as keywords for targeted advertising.
