NBA Team Wants Ticketmaster Injunction Lifted

Law360 (May 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Saying settlement negotiations with Ticketmaster LLC have broken down in an antitrust and breach of contract suit, the Cleveland Cavaliers have asked a judge to suspend a permanent injunction barring the basketball team from using a Ticketmaster rival’s online ticket-reselling software.

On Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the Cavaliers filed a renewed motion to suspend the injunction until the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit has ruled on the team's appeal of the injunction.
