Ex-Counsel's Errors Doom Med Mal Claims, NJ Court Says

Law360 (February 27, 2018, 9:16 PM EST) -- Medical malpractice claims in a suit over a jail inmate's death cannot move forward because his mother's original attorney did not file an expert affidavit, a New Jersey appeals court said Tuesday in a published opinion overturning a ruling that revived the claims on the grounds of “substantial compliance” and “extraordinary circumstances.”
