Ga. Jury Awards Record $18M In Infection Misdiagnosis Suit

Law360 (March 7, 2018, 10:45 PM EST) -- A Georgia state jury on Tuesday awarded $18 million in a suit accusing a doctor of failing to timely diagnose and treat a woman's spinal infection that ultimately caused her to become a paraplegic in what is touted as the largest medical malpractice verdict in Chatham County history.
