Maryland Co. To Pay $2M Penalty For Bribing Russian

Law360 (March 13, 2018, 10:18 PM EDT) -- Maryland-based Transport Logistics International Inc. has agreed to pay a $2 million criminal penalty to resolve charges it bribed an official at a subsidiary of Russia’s State Atomic Energy Corp. to win contracts to ship uranium to the U.S., according to a Department of Justice announcement Tuesday.
