McDonald's, NLRB Say Joint Employer Deal Passes Muster

Law360, New York (April 5, 2018, 8:55 PM EDT) -- McDonald's USA LLC and the National Labor Relations Board's general counsel each told an administrative judge at a hearing Thursday that a deal ending a sprawling case over whether the company and its franchisees are joint employers should be approved, while workers' advocates argued that it lets McDonald's off the hook for alleged labor law violations.
