Securities Suit Against AT&T And Others Thrown Out

Law360, New York (September 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed a securities lawsuit against AT&T, Comcast and Cox Communications that accused the companies of breaching their fiduciary duties by contributing to the demise of Internet service provider At Home Corp.

Judge Louis Stanton dismissed a case brought by stockholder Ronald Ventura in June 2005, saying the factual allegations and claims were identical to those in a related case he dismissed in March.
