High Court To Hear Merck Bid In Vioxx Class Action

Law360 (May 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In the latest twist in the long-running saga over Merck & Co.'s recalled painkiller Vioxx, the U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to consider the pharmaceutical giant's appeal of a lower court ruling that reinstated a securities class action alleging Merck covered up the health risks of the drug.
