Late Plaintiffs Cut From OT Class Action Against RGIS

Law360, New York (June 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has agreed to drop certain late-filing opt-in plaintiffs from an employment class action against leading retail inventory and data collection firm RGIS LLC alleging that the company fails to pay workers for time spent traveling to job sites or donning equipment.

Judge Joseph C. Spero issued an order on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California addressing a dispute between the parties regarding possible confusion over the opt-in notices or discovery requests for hundreds of late-filed consent forms....
