3rd Circ. Rebuffs Mercedes Tele-Aid Cert. Appeal

Law360, New York (June 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Mercedes-Benz USA LLC has lost a bid to appeal the certification of a class of vehicle owners alleging that the automaker sold them expensive analog Tele-Aid emergency contact systems that it knew would become obsolete in 2008 when cell phone companies switched from analog to digital technology.
