Facebook Investor Can't Explain 'Beef' With Calif. Suits

By Dorothy Atkins (June 27, 2018, 9:20 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday refused to let an investor who sued Facebook in Delaware intervene in five derivative suits pending in the Golden State over the Cambridge Analytica scandal, telling the investor he doesn't understand what her "beef" is with a proposed order consolidating the California cases.

During a hearing in Oakland, California, U.S. District Judge Haywood S. Gilliam Jr. said he was "trying to be patient" but doesn't understand why Karen Sbriglio wants to object to the proposed order, which would consolidate the California actions and appoint lead counsel.
