NY Real Estate Legislation To Watch In The 2nd Half Of 2018

Law360 (July 9, 2018, 11:42 AM EDT) -- New York could be on the cusp of passing major legislation to regulate short-term rentals, following in the footsteps of other cities like San Francisco, and in the second half of 2018 real estate lawyers will be eyeing that as well as various potential rezonings.

Most short-term listings in New York on sites like Airbnb are illegal, state officials have said recently, but that could soon change, with the New York State legislature perhaps taking steps to alter the state's laws on short-term rentals.
