Atty Can't Revive Defamation Suit Against Daily, Judge

Law360 (July 6, 2018, 5:17 PM EDT) -- A Texas appellate court has rejected a bid from an attorney to overturn a trial court's ruling dismissing a defamation lawsuit he had filed against the Dallas Morning News' parent company and a judge, rejecting the lawyer's argument that the newspaper defamed him by writing stories implicating him in the alleged arson death of another attorney.
