Ex-Union Leader Guilty Of Taking Bribe From Hedge Fund

Law360, New York (August 15, 2018, 3:32 PM EDT) -- A Manhattan jury convicted Norman Seabrook of bribery Wednesday, finding the once-powerful head of the Correction Officers' Benevolent Association favored now-bankrupt hedge fund Platinum Partners with $20 million of union capital in exchange for a man-purse stuffed with $60,000 in cash.
