Netflix Seeks To End Mo. Cities' Bid To Charge Streaming Cos.

Law360 (September 14, 2018, 5:15 PM EDT) -- Netflix Inc. asked a Missouri federal court Thursday to drop a proposed class action brought by dozens of state municipalities for allegedly not abiding by state telecommunication laws, saying it is not a video service provider and not subject to state laws that would require it to pay a fee to the cities.
