Delta Looks To Add Legal Expertise

Law360 (September 27, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Delta Air Lines Inc. has asked the federal judge overseeing its Chapter 11 bankruptcy case to allow it to hire the law firms Squire, Sanders & Dempsey LLP and Kilpatrick Stockton LLP to help with various labor and litigation matters.

Delta is seeking to retain Squire Sanders to provide corporate and regulatory services in the Dominican Republic, general legal work in Latin America and general labor work in Florida.

The law firm is known for its specialization in Latin American legal matters.
