Apple, Sirius XM Tied Into MP3 Player Patent Suit

Law360, New York (June 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Apple Inc., Sirius XM Radio Inc. and others are facing a suit by a company alleging they have infringed its patent for audio program player and playback system technology.

Personal Audio LLC filed the action in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Thursday claiming the MP3 players made and sold by Apple, Sirius, Coby Electronics Corp. and Archos Inc. have violated two of its patents.
