Class Action Over Dell Printer Feature Dismissed

Law360, New York (June 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has dismissed a proposed class action accusing Dell Inc. of fraudulently marketing an ink-jet printer feature to dupe customers into replacing ink cartridges that don't need to be replaced.

In an order Thursday, Judge Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California tossed the lawsuit, filed in state court in October 2008 by Munzer Dajani. She did not give him leave to amend the complaint.
