Final OK Given To $1.35M Lockheed Wage And Hour Suit Deal

Law360 (October 22, 2018, 9:02 PM EDT) -- A California judge has agreed to give the final stamp of approval on a $1.35 million deal to resolve claims that Lockheed Martin Corp. didn't properly provide certain workers with correct itemized wage statements.

Santa Clara Superior Court Judge Brian C. Walsh on Friday granted final approval of the settlement in the suit alleging the wage statements at issue didn't identify the correct overtime rate or the amount of time employees worked. The judge said the settlement called for various payments to come out of the total, including $449,550 in attorneys' fees for the plaintiff's counsel and a $15,000 enhancement payment to plaintiff...
