Debevoise Atty To Join SEC Enforcement Division

Law360, New York (July 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former federal prosecutor Lorin L. Reisner will return to government service as the deputy director of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Enforcement Division, after a 13-year stint as a litigation partner at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.

Reisner, a former assistant U.S. attorney, will join the SEC in August, as it continues to revamp enforcement efforts in the wake of the subprime lending meltdown and the revelation of Bernard L. Madoff's Ponzi scheme.
