Disney Stores Not Enough To Keep Toy Patent Suit In Texas

Law360 (October 26, 2018, 6:58 PM EDT) -- A lawsuit against The Walt Disney Co. over an interactive toy patent has been sent to California after a federal judge decided retail stores owned by a Disney subsidiary didn’t provide a basis for keeping the case in Texas.

Judge Robert Pitman in the Western District of Texas on Wednesday ordered the case brought by Interactive ToyBox LLC to be transferred to the Central District of California, where Walt Disney Co. is headquartered.
