The nation's high court could also clarify whether the Clean Water Act allows regulators to require permits for sources that pollute certain waterways via groundwater.
And a D.C. federal judge could decide whether President Donald Trump has the authority to shrink national monuments designated by his predecessor, President Barack Obama.
