McGuireWoods Snags Former FCC Veteran From Akin Gump

Law360 (January 17, 2019, 5:47 PM EST) -- A former legislative affairs director at the Federal Communications Commission with two decades of experience in telecommunications and technology policy has left Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP to join McGuireWoods LLP as senior counsel in its Washington, D.C., office.

After more than five years at Akin Gump, Gregory W. Guice made the leap to McGuireWoods on Monday, saying he will have an exciting opportunity to guide the firm's tech giant clients through the regulatory landscape arising around their latest products, such as drones and autonomous vehicles.
