Broadcom Appeals Antitrust Case Against Qualcomm

Law360 (October 3, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In the latest event in the long-running dispute between two Californian telecom companies, Broadcom Corp. has appealed last month’s dismissal of its federal antitrust lawsuit against rival Qualcomm Inc.

Broadcom said the dismissal by a U.S. District Judge in New Jersey was based on an incorrect reading of antitrust law and is directly at odds with established precedent.
