AT&T Store Managers Win Class Cert. In OT Suit

Law360, New York (July 20, 2009, 3:45 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Friday awarded a group of AT&T Mobility LLC assistant store managers and other hourly employees conditional class certification in a suit that accuses the telecommunications giant of failing to pay them for overtime work.

Gamze Zivali brought suit against AT&T Mobility in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in November 2008 seeking an award of unpaid wages, maintenance costs and overtime compensation under the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York state labor law.
