Ropes' Chicago Office Brings In First IP Lawyer

Law360, New York (July 21, 2009, 4:17 PM EDT) -- Ropes & Gray LLP's newly formed Chicago office has hired its first intellectual property lawyer, a partner from Sidley Austin LLP who will mainly focus on patent litigation and on expanding the firm's presence in the Midwest.

Rick McCaulley started working for Ropes & Gray on Monday, becoming the 16th attorney in the Chicago office.
